A few of the parents who are traveling to California in our own cars, dropped our kids off at the high school and headed down the road. We needed to get to St George and unload the semi trailer so the kids have their very last practice. At one point along the way, we had 4 cars with families of American Fork band students traveling in a row down the freeway.
We are using the field at Snow Canyon High School. Thank you Snow Canyon High School, it was great to practice in shorts and t-shirts again.
The unloading begins:
The very last things to come out of the trailer were the Color Guard Flag bags. All 47 of them.
Once the trailer was unloaded we had to make THE CORNER on the field, the field is astro turf, so we marked the field with painters tape.
The kids arrived and had lunch, then the work began.
That's it! We are as ready as we are going to get. All of the months of preparation have brought us to this point. We are going to march down Disneyland's Main Street tomorrow and down Colorado Avenue on Januray 2nd. Bring it on!
