Around 400 HOURS of practice

So I just looked back over my calendar and looked at all the days of practice the Field Show Guard has had since May when they made the team.  With all of the Marching Band practices, the Color Guard practrices, the Color Guard Camps, and class time.  I think the girls practiced for close to 400 hours.  All for a  15 minute show that got performed 12 times.  I am just amazed at all of the hard work that the kids put into making a show the best it can be. 

I am so proud of my daughter, she gets up without complaint for all of the 6:00 am practices.  She misses Young Women Activities, family activities, fun times with friends, and even dates to be to practrices.  She has scheduled eye appointments, doctor and dentist appointments around Guard practices.  She did drivers ed around guard.  She somehow finds time to get her homework and chores done.
