But it was back to performing on December 30th. they headed to the Rose Bowl in the morning and took a group picture in front of the Rose Bowl. They also took individual picture os his band member. The kids then got to walk thru one of the warehouses where they are decorating the floats for the Rose Parade. WOW! is all I can say, it is amazing watching all the work that goes into making a float for the Parade. From there the kids headed to Pasadena City College for Band Fest. Band Fest is an opportunity for each band who is n the Rose Parade to perform another time. Some of the bandsthe day we were there, just got into a Concert Arc and played a few songs, some of them had a Field Show to perform.
American Fork did their Field Show. They did a Great job!
Mr Miller was presented with a Drum with the Rose Parade logo on it, by some of The Rose Parade Queesn, The Rose parade President, and others.
Once the band finished their field show and exitged the field they lined up for a Parade Pass by. They played their Parade tunes as they passed by the stands. It was all very exciting!
My personal favorites are coming . . . THE FLAGS!
