The Final Awards Ceremony

The final 10 bands have performed and the wait begins.  One of the traditions at the Regional Bands of America Competition is that the band that won the year before gets to have their drum line "bring in the bands" for the awards ceremony.

The video just doesn't do this justice.  It is really neat to watch the bands enter the field and line up.

The AMERICAN FORK MARCHING BAND and COLOR GUARD received the award for

OUTSTANDING MUSIC PERFORMANCE

and

SECOND PLACE ! ! ! ! !

Thank you, Tiffany Miller, you give of your time and talents, love and patience every day that you spend with the amazing American Fork Color Guard.  You can see of the love my daughter has for you in her face.  Thanks for helping her to grow not only within the Color Guard, but for helping her to grow into a beautiful young woman.
