We are going to the ROSE PARADE

The American Fork High School Marching Band has been invited and accepted the invitation to march in the 2010 Rose Parade to be held in Pasadena, California on January 2, 2012.

The Rose Parade Chairman of the Board, Rick Jackson and his wife came to American Fork to extend the formal invitation, they were treated to a personal presentation of our parade music. The night started with roses being presented to Mr. and Mrs. Jackson

We moved into the auditorium and the American Fork City Mayor proclaimed the day "American Fork Marchiing Band Day" and along with Miss American Fork presented the Jacksons a key to the city.

Mrs. Carter presented the Jackson's with a basketful of "Utah" things

What an exciting opportunity we have ahead of us.  We will be a part of a once in a lifetime experience for these girls, performing at the Rose Parade!
